Custom Aircraft Rivets Made to Order

All aircraft rivets are made-to-order. As a vertically integrated manufacturer, National Rivet assumes complete responsibility for lot control and quality verification. From raw material to finished product, your aircraft rivet stays right in our Waupun facilities, including for such secondary operations as:

  • Anodizing
  • Annealing and heat treating
  • Stainless steel passivation
  • Plating and chromating
  • Machining/head marking
  • Sheer testing and other QA/QC procedures

Every aircraft rivet receives in-process and mechanical inspection for dimensional tolerances, as well as a final inspection.

Rivet Materials & Styles

  • Standard aircraft rivet types include 100-degree countersunk, 78-degree countersunk, round head, universal head, flat head, and brazier head, all with standard aircraft rivet identification markings. 
  • We can cold head rivets from aluminum (1100, 2024, 2017, 2117, 5056, 7050 grades), stainless steel (all headable 300 and 400 series grades), Monel® (grade 400), and have the capability for cold heading other metals on request.
