Max-Set® Anvils

Overview
Unique instrumentation and the proper setting of the pilot pin height mean the Max-Set is able to obtain consistent precision settings under operating conditions.
While an error of as little as .001″ can substantially reduce the useful life of an anvil, the precision-calibrated Max-Set is capable of clinching up to twice as many rivets as ordinary anvils that are usually inconsistent in calibration.
The National Rivet “Max-Set” Anvil is a precision tool designed to curl semi-tubular rivets. Each anvil is manufactured to extremely close tolerances and is carefully adjusted and checked before it leaves our factory.
We make a wide variety of anvils, Designed for each specific application.
National anvils may be used with most riveting equipment, single or multiple types, and provide improved riveting and longer service than original equipment.

Anvil Reconditioning Program
National offers an exclusive reconditioning program for Max-Set Anvils to extend their life and maintain effective, efficient and low-cost riveting.
The anvil is often the most neglected and overlooked part of riveting, with an estimated 90 percent of riveting problems being caused by anvils in need of repair or reconditioning.
By reconditioning anvils through National’s program, you can increase riveting quality for your production line and reduce both down time and rejects to keep assembly costs low. In addition, you will eliminate tool room labor in attempting to rebuild anvils without the proper machinery or specialized calibration equipment.
Special Reconditioning Programs are designed for each customer. For a program meeting your company’s specific needs, call or write today.
