Sell Us Your Riveter

If you have a used rivet setting machine to sell, please contact National Rivet.

We buy old riveters straight out, or you can apply the cash you would receive toward the purchase of a new National Rivet machine. When selling a machine, please provide us with the Model, serial number and condition of the unit (Working or not, and note any known issues). Please send photos, as they will help us decide on our offer. National Rivet does not guarantee the purchase of all models. Currently, we provide the best price for Model 600s, 800s and 1000s.

Reconditioned Riveter

Just like some people favor buying used cars, there are people who prefer to purchase reconditioned riveters. But don’t confuse a reconditioned National Rivet rivet setting machine with any old used, retooled or rebuilt riveter.

As part of National Rivet’s rigorous process, we:

  • Completely tear down the machine
  • Thoroughly inspect every component
  • Replace all worn parts, which may include bushings, pins, clutches, linkages, anvils, jaws, drivers, hoppers, arms and accessories
  • Paint the unit for a near-new appearance
  • Thoroughly test the unit in-house before we release it
