Aircraft Rivets

National Rivet automotive fasteners provide the durability and reliability required for demanding automotive manufacturing and assembly applications.

Aerospace Rivets Backed by Decades of Proven Performance

Our heritage extends back to World War II, when the majority of solid aluminum aircraft rivets for the American war effort came through National Rivet’s Waupun, Wisconsin facilities. Today, we continue that tradition by manufacturing aerospace rivets to meet the exacting requirements of the aerospace industry.

We are AS9100:D and ISO 9001:2015 certified, reflecting our commitment to the highest quality standards and strict adherence to the most rigorous aerospace industry standards. Aerospace organizations can be assured that National Rivet products and practices meet their exacting quality requirements.

If you have an aerospace fastening challenge or need to replace or improve an existing part, take advantage of our in-house, custom engineering capabilities.

Different Types of Aircraft Rivets

Aerospace rivets are available in a variety of head styles, materials, and specifications designed to meet the requirements of different airframe and aerospace applications. Some common aircraft rivet types include:

  • Countersunk rivets: Designed to sit flush with the surface of an airframe component.
  • Universal head rivets: A versatile option used across a variety of aircraft and airframe applications.
  • Flat head rivets: Designed with a low-profile head for applications with specific clearance requirements.
  • Brazier head rivets: Feature a larger head diameter for specific aircraft and airframe applications.
